MACMILLAN HELLAS PUBLISHERS SA, based in Athens, 2, Missaraliotou St., PC 117 42, tel. 210 7482828, Tax number 094543368, Tax office 'ÖÁÂÅ Áèçíþí' (“MACMILLAN PUBLISHING”), undertakes to protect the personal information of visitors/users of its website www.macmillan.gr and to abide with the relevant provisions of Greek law (L.2472/1997 “regarding protection of individuals from the processing of data characterized as personal” as supplemented with the decisions by the Chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Personal Information, P.D. 207/1998 and 79/2000 and article 8 of L. 2819/2000 as well as Law 2774/1999 and European law). For this reason, no personal information of visitors/users is collected unless the latter themselves provide such information voluntarily. The provision of information constituting personal information is not required for simple navigation through the www.macmillan.gr website.
A. PERSONAL INFORMATION
For registration to the services of the www.macmillan.gr website, the receipt of newsletters and the participation in different forums or competitions that take place, users are requested to complete their personal information. Namely he/she will have all the rights and abilities of a simple visitor, as described in the GENERAL TERMS OF USE, and not those of the registered user. Moreover, the non submission of personal information at the on-line book store renders the completion of orders unfeasible.

Unregistered visitors may also communicate with the website through special forms for comments, remarks, questions etc. For this purpose, the visitor will disclose his/her email and full name and surname. The disclosure of any additional personal information is not required.
Each user may exercise the access and objection rights stipulated by articles 11 and 13 of L. 2472/1997. “MACMILLAN PUBLISHING” do not disclose users’ personal information to third parties, unless such is required by law.
Registered users of the website have the right to de-activate their registration at any time, by simply visiting the relevant service of www.macmillan.gr at the contact form. Following the de-activation of users’ registration, all records of their personal information will be automatically deleted. For this reason, following the de-activation of their registration, former registered users will not have the privileges maintained by registered users of the www.macmillan.gr website.
MACMILLAN PUBLISHING guarantees that it will not sell, transfer or disclose the personal information collected through the www.macmillan.gr website in any way to third parties, with the exception of the relevant provisions of the law and towards the relevant authorities and only to such. B. COOKIES
