The services of the on-line book store are provided according to the present terms of use, the terms of use of personal information (see TERMS OF USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION) and the general terms of use (see GENERAL TERMS OF USE) that are included in the website www.macmillan.gr, which constitute an inseparable part of the present terms. With his/her entrance to the on-line book store, the visitor must carefully read the present terms. MACMILLAN PUBLISHING has the right to amend the present terms of use at its discretion and at any time. For this reason, visitors/users must periodically check if the present terms of use have been amended. The use of the on-line book store is made according to the terms of use, as applicable following every amendment to the above. Use of the on-line book store is expressly prohibited without the full acceptance of all currently applicable terms of use.
PURCHASE
During the completion of an order and purchase, the user is guided by the system’s automated indications. The order is recorded. With the completion of the order, a message is sent to the user by e-mail certifying receipt of the order. Prior to the completion of the order, the user has the ability to check the order and amend it. However, in case of error by MACMILLAN PUBLISHING, the latter has the obligation to correct the error.
PAYMENT METHODS
In the on-line book store, payments take place through one of the following methods:

- By cash on delivery according to the cash on delivery system applied by the shipping company. The cash on delivery applies for orders within Greece.
- By Visa and Mastercard with the cooperation of Pireaus Bank.
The Company has the right to cancel one or more of the above methods or to adopt new ones, after previously amending the present terms.
SHIPPING-AVAILABILITY
Delivery will take place at the location indicated by the customer, using means selected by MACMILLAN PUBLISHING. Provided the product ordered is in stock at our warehouses, efforts will be made to execute delivery within 24-48 hours in the Attica region and within 48-72 hours outside of Attica, unless some reason arises that forces us to suspend sales of a product.
Exact shipping costs are displayed when customers complete their order.
RETURNS OF PRODUCTS
Once payment is completed, ownership of the goods transfers to the customer. Returns will not be accepted after this point.
PRICES OF SOLD PRODUCTS
The prices indicated next to each product as the final price (“our price”) also include the current V.A.T. The registered prices do not include shipping costs. The total cost (including shipping costs) is confirmed during the order’s completion.
SECURITY
Online credit card transactions are carried out through Piraeus Bank PayCenter system for further security. The customer is automatically transferred to a secure server of the Piraeus Bank’s PayCenter service. All information transmitted electronically by the customer, as well as its transfer from the Bank to VISA or MasterCard, is covered by the SSL 128-bit cipher algorithm. In this case, the credit card information is not stored anywhere, but is only used during the checking procedure and debit of the card. The secure communication system of the MACMILLAN PUBLISHING on-line bookstore is certified by the company Verisign. Credit cards transactions that take place in this manner at the on-line book store are absolutely secure.
Users are responsible for keeping their username, password and credit card information confidential.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Use of the on-line book store requires you to disclose certain personal information to us. In cases of orders, you will be requested to provide your full name and surname, address, shipment address, telephone number, email or fax etc. If you wish to pay by credit card you will also have to provide your credit card number, expiration and code. With the submission of your e-mail you accept that all necessary communications for the completion of your order may also take place through your e-mail.
RESPONSIBLE COURTS
The Athens Courts are responsible for the settlement of any difference that may arise from the use of the on-line book store or regarding the interpretation or application of the present terms of use.
APPLICABLE LAW
Transactions through the on-line book store, the use of the on-line book store and the present terms of use are regulated by Greek Law. In the event that the present terms are deemed null or void, the nullity or invalidity of such will not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
